#89 Invivo Wines
Country: New Zealand
Industry: Wine
About: Invivo Wines is a New Zealand wine company, currently based in the historic Te Kauwhata winery south of Auckland. Invivo began in 2007 as an idea between old school friends, winemaker Rob Cameron and Tim Lightbourne. The brand produces wine in partnership with TV celebrities Graham Norton and Sarah Jessica Parker, and aims to appeal to casual wine drinkers by avoiding the sort of marketing its founders perceive is too pompous or flowery.
Words: sustainable; community; wine; bubbles
Strategy: combine the brand name with one of New Zealand symbols - the silver fern. The curvy shapes of the leaf forms the silhouette of a wine glass. The typeface was refreshed too, with the final “o” of “Invivo” being used again in the logomark as wine bubbles.
