BLEU DE CHANEL — Cosmetic Lifestyle
About this project
Chanel is a popular French fashion brand, well known for their attention to detail in the way they communicate luxury to their potential customers. Bleu de Chanel or "Blue Chanel" is a men's fragrance created by Jacques Polge in the year 2010. In this project, I set out to redefine Blue Chanel to fit even women, and anyone whoso dares to put on this clean scent.
The process
Blender3D is the dominant tool in this exploration. The perfume bottle and entire scene were modeled from the foundations in Blender, properly lit and prepared for animation. Post production was done using a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere pro for the scene cuts in the short video.
The blueprint
A studio called Monolith Agency first created this schematic to fulfill a project for a client product called Hygea. This formed the basis of my exploration towards this shape and direction for the Blue Chanel product.The shape guided my design into form and compositions to get a well rounded product, that is warm to the feel.
