Lviv
This illustration is about my hometown of Lviv, Ukraine and its vibrant community. With so many things to depict, it was difficult to choose a few key points to illustrate. However, I decided to focus on some of the most memorable memories from my childhood.
Lviv, which was named in honor of Leo, the eldest son of Daniel, King of Ruthenia, features a lion on its coat of arms and is considered a symbol of the city. As such, there are many sculptures and souvenirs with lions all around the city. Also, I wanted to showcase the city's changeable weather, the always-crowded city center, an open-air book market where locals sell old books and records, and street musicians who create a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout the whole city center.
