Repeat pattern 55

An attempt to make a trailing pattern with nothing fancy, super simple abstract floral. And in only two colors; one for background, another for the motifs.

Yes! There is a gap/disconnection in the pattern trail. Rather than brushing it as a mistake, I think it’s interesting. One of its own kind of pattern.

I am currently taking Arts and Crafts pattern ‘part one – trailing’ skillshare class, taught by @bearbellproductions. There are steps that require dozens of paper sketches. I was wondering how much of it can be done digitally. I have some limitation in tools supply, so sort of was looking for alternates.

Figuring out pattern tile without any prior pen n paper sketch, tough but doable. I thought it would be easy peasy. I will sit down and boom! The pattern will come to life.

Nope! A confession from inside: I sweated. Complained. After 1st round at artboard, even felt a bit defeated. Got away from it for some time before I sit back again.

So what happened around the second time? You have to wait a bit to know. Will be sharing those samples in 56 and 57 accordingly.
