Idaho Potato Museum

To further understand the world of branding we had the chance to rebrand a museum chosen at random. I got to work with the Idaho Potato museum and found it to be a really unique assignment. Taking my time learning about the history and main concepts of Idaho Potatoes I was able to use this information to form my final design. From the origins of the name IDAHO I discovered Native Americans gave the state this title that meant “Gem of the Mountains”. This led to the geometric potato design that imitates the mountains of Idaho. Incorporating both potatoes and state as well as history and future was a large portion of the final creation. I learned through this process that to truly capture one’s company you must first know and understand them.
