Marcel Petard is an itinerant French vigneron with a murky past. Petard had riches, women, every conceivable luxury, if not fame. For years, he anonymously produced superlative privately-bottled wines for the wealthiest individuals and powerful government figures.

By his own choice as well as at the behest of his clients he remained invisible on the international wine scene. He remains very secretive.

But for branding his “uncommon wines for common people”, he knew only Freshbait would understand his vision.
