Fleur De Gras: Proposed State Flag of Louisiana

Louisiana is one of the most colorful and diverse states in the union and the present flag does not reflect this. This version features the Fleur De Lis. A classic French symbol with traditional Mardi Gras color combination of purple, gold and green. Each fleur represents one of the five parts of the state of Louisiana. These parts are: Sportsman’s Paradise, Crossroads, Cajun Country, Plantation Country, Greater New Orleans.
