Native Pride: Proposed State Flag of Oklahoma

The Oklahoma State flag imagery is truly sacred to the state. Therefore, without changing too much the blue field of the Choctaw flag (carried in the Civil War is still present along with 7 crosses (Native American symbols for stars) that symbolize the state itself and the 6 states that it borders. The Osage buffalo skin shield has been simplified but is still present. The field of white represents Oklahoma's famous sooners, the dark red the Native Tribes of the territory.
