I've always wondered how a Koala qualifies as a "bear," but to ensure that we're not showing too much favoritism to the Grizzlies, Polar Bears, Black Bears, and other big bears in the mascot landscape, I dusted off an old sketch and sharpened this guy up to rep the Koala name.

In a literal sense though, I wanted to experiment with my style a bit and decided to try this one with all (or nearly all excluding the eyes and bridge of the nose) sharp angles and straight lines.

Do the sharp angles go too hard? Is it better with a containing shield or would you go sans shield? Let me know what you think!
