SaaS Flow for Submitting a Proposal

Uplift Group is an NGO that requires its volunteers to submit proposals to multiple stakeholders, but approval must be received from one before submission to the next.

Due to the slight complexity in the process, volunteers can become lost or unsure of what to do.

To solve this, I introduced

1. A guide that can be accessed at every point in the flow. On the main screen, this is right beside the "create proposal" CTA so it will be hard to miss.

2. An outline of stakeholders a proposal must be submitted to so that as the volunteer submits, they're aware that there are two more steps in the near future.

3. A text underneath this outline explaining the process. This way, even if a volunteer doesn't read the guide, they know what the process is.

4. An "Actions" section which is automatically generated based on the volunteer's progress and the tag in a response from the stakeholder (i.e action required)

With most SaaS products, it's important that users never feel lost or confused and I focused on solving this for the volunteers at Uplift Group.
