Character Experiment with AI

If you have been following me on other platforms, you'll know that I have a longterm interest in AI. With the recent developments I am, personally, very intrigued about everything that's happening, not only in Art but AI's involvement in our lives from now on. However, the speed of it was something I have not expected, a change can be unsettling, wondrous, scary, beautiful, all at once. So I understand all these human emotions.

This collection is a part of my research/tests into text-to-image AI creation tools. As implementations and diffusion models are making their ways into our lives with an incredible speed, it is important to experiment and see where creativity will be heading, how the tools will be implemented and not only how the cooperate/entertainment world will make use of it but how it can also benefit individual artists with creative brainstorming ideas, and help make creations in different fields for people with less reach to resources around the world especially with storytelling and design. In my case, it will be very useful after the conceptualising step before anything else for my projects outside my traditional work.

This was created with Midjourney with Stable Diffusion, it is one of the more recent beta test developments so you can see how clear and defined it is comparing to many other examples with Midjourney V3. It is staggering.

Whether it fits into your definition of Art or not, AI creation tools are here and will take their place in our everyday lives. It's one of many fields that will be using these tools. We are now living in the Future and it is important to understand and discuss the ethics and transparency of these technologies.​​​​​​​
