My OS - Desktop #1 - Apps Management

When Apple released in one of their OS's updates the "Launchpad", I was like "What a bad way to introduce a good idea". Because it's absurd go to an icon of one app to open more apps, I never use it, it's too hidden. My idea is a similar logical to the mobile apps management, but more integrated to the OS, a "dock" with recurrent apps, and with just one click opens all the rest, easy. Also, this dock has 2 more important features, a trash can that doesn't looks like another app, and a quick access to my cloud to backup my files just dragging files. I'm thinking for my cloud organize my files like a mirror, in that way I don't have to organize it...
