My OS - Desktop #1 - Social Integration

When I start my day, I go to safari and I start to type, in the browser, pages like facebook, twitter, etc. Many times, during the day, I have to open a new tab to search things on google. It's not practical, are pages that are part of our life. Why I can't have direct access in my OS to use them? For example, usually a tweet came from everywhere, then I want a way to tweet as soon as possible without interrupting my work.
