This logo is for a programme that helps raise the profile of the Welsh language. It is, of course, based in Wales, and the shape of the logo is the outline of the 3 areas it serves; Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen and Mynwy (Monmouth). The shade of red used is a reference to the Urdd logo.
