FigChallenge: What’s New?
TL;DR: I explained all the updates in a video. You can now participate in a 30-day design challenge and connect with other designers, level up, and earn achievements.
We released a huge update for FigChalelnge on April 1st.

As you might have noticed that we are constantly updating the app. We are trying our best to address all your feedback! On April 1st we released some essential updates that you can read about it in this article.
You can also watch this video in which I explained the updates
Public User Profile
We updated the user profile and added exciting features to it 🤩🤩 Here’s what’s new.
Stats
We added a whole new section on the profile page that shows the stats: Number of challenges you created, Number of challenges you submitted, Number of your friends, and Number of users that you invited. This will give you more clarity about yourself and other designers on the app!
Achievements
From now on everyone can see how hardworking you are! In the user profile, we added the Achievements section that includes these badges: Profile Pro, Challenger, Design Hero, Early Bird, and Friend Magnet. Each badge has its own levels and you can see your progress in front of it! For more details check out your profile 😉
Social links
You can complete your profile by adding the links to your socials. Also by clicking on other designers’ profiles, you can see their profile details and their socials and connect with them easier!
Challenges Tab
Difficulty Level
We’ve listened to your feedback about stars and we replaced them with tags, to reduce the confusion and make them more visible.
Simplifying
We reduced the clutter in this tab by relocating the buttons inside of each challenge page, adding an indicator for public or private challenges, and adding the share icon in 3 dots on the challenge card. This tab still needs improvements; we would love to know your thoughts and recommendations about it.
Increase in challenges variety
Last but not least, we’ve added more challenges with different levels and deadlines, focusing on building a daily design habit. Right now we have a 30-day design challenge for April. You can read about it here. You can also join the waitlist here. We plan to introduce even more challenges in the future, and you’ll also be able to create your own as always.
Thank you
These updates weren’t possible without your help. Thank you so much Diya Vijay, Petr Valenta, Med Vaghar, Jasmin H., Martha Adeleke, Ali Rushdan Tariq for all your support and valuable feedback!
We hope you enjoy these new features! We would love to hear all your comments, feedback, and suggestions. I’m all ears, reach out to me in any way that you like. 😊😊😊
