Creating a color palette with Atmos
I recently started experimenting with a new tool to create color palettes called Atmos. It allows you to create vibrant and accessible palettes by making use of a perceptually uniform color model called CIELAB.
Different from HSB and RGB color spaces, CIELAB takes into account the perceptual capabilities of the human eye instead of focusing on how a computer understands color.
Using a perceptually uniform color space when creating shades and tints, colors remain constant in their lightness, and hues are evenly distributed to make a linear color gradient that is also accessible.
