The Potato Crew | VTEX + Lasca

Hey! We are a motion studio from Brazil and we are excited to start posting our work on Dribbble!

In this project we were invited by Lasca Studio to collaborate  and create collage-style animations based on their designs, as part of a series of animated interviews for VTEX, an Enterprise Digital Commerce Platform that enables brands and retailers to achieve faster time to market, reach their customers across any channel, and uncover new growth areas. 

We wanted to break some of the conventions of a regular institutional video giving the animations a feel of playfullness to keep it inviting and engaging to watch. 

This project is dear to us since it won silver medal at the Brazil Design Awards 2022, and it was featured on Good Moves!

Since the theme of the video was that, even peeling kiloes of potatoes with friends could be fun, we chose to make this scene about conversations with playful characters made from a potato, with their bits bobbling with the movement of the hands.
