The Snow Dog

I created this illustration for a book about a boy who saw a snow dog in the sky and dreams of getting one. His mum is setting the table for a traditional New Year's Eve dinner -- in Russia it has to include caviar canapes. The pineapple on her head is fictional... I mean, it wasn't in the original story, but it's my favorite detail. The windows were inspired by those I saw in St Petersburg.
