Bookstack Bench - Spring 2020

In this project, I was tasked to design a wooden sculpture near an intersection called "the ashtray." The back of the bench is in the shape of different sized books on a bookshelf. The three walls give it an outdoor room feel while also giving students the view of Schafer Tower. The seats are made of drumboxes to compliment impromptu concerts on the university green. Finally, there are wave facades to symbolize the constant movement throughout the space.
