Never Give Up

This illustration pays tribute to my 6-year-old self. As a nervous first grader in a new school, I remember sitting at my desk not knowing anyone. I then decided to take out some markers a piece of paper and just start drawing. What came out was a few of my favorite Pokémon hovering around a flower. Before I knew it, the entire class was standing around me watching in amazement. What started out as a room full of strangers, became a room full of friends all because of my drawing. Realizing I could bring smiles to everyone around me just because of my art, was life changing for me. It was that day I decided I wanted to be an artist when I grew up.
