Healthcare app to record your medical history

As a designer, I was thrilled to work on reimagining the patient experience through a mobile app. The goal was to create an interface that felt warm and welcoming, not cold or clinical. With the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling patients to access their health records and monitor conditions from home became even more important.

I led a redesign of the app to give patients new ways to connect with their NHS data and personal health journey. By integrating with the UK's National Health Service, users can now grab their electronic medical records with just a few taps. But we wanted to go beyond basic data and charts. Users can add personal notes to their records, log health metrics, and message their general practitioner.

The app has a calming feel, easy-to-understand language, and a simple yet heartfelt style. It's designed to cheer users on in their health while boosting understanding and accessibility. For those dealing with chronic or serious medical issues, small acts of kindness and personalization can provide comfort during an otherwise lonely and difficult time. As a designer, it's a privilege but also responsibility to craft these experiences—ultimately, it's about putting people first.
