Anniversary Illustration in Color

As I promised, here's the illustration I did for our anniversary last month, this time in color. I decided to go with slightly muted values to get out of my comfort zone and bring a sense of serenity.

This is one of my first attempts to do **real** illustration. It took a lot of time and trial and error, but my girlfriend's lessons seem to work. It's a breath of fresh air after working on stylesheets all day.
