This design approach that intentionally breaks the traditional principles of design, such as balance, harmony, and beauty, to create a more unconventional and thought-provoking aesthetic. It often challenges the status quo and seeks to provoke a reaction or emotion in the viewer rather than simply being aesthetically pleasing. Anti-design can also be used to criticize consumerism and the overemphasis on material possessions in modern society.
