Tile Interactions

The home page of this automotive site needs to display 3 incentives differentiated by automotive brands. I wanted to continue with the use of energetic and engaging photography to capture the personality of the vehicles but I also needed to present text-heavy explanations of the details and limitations of each incentive.

The initial state is a photo of the vehicle that doesn't necessarily need to be perfectly cropped but rather feel energetic and engaging. At that point if a user hovers over a vehicle's tile, or taps on it on tablet/mobile, it would expose another image of the vehicle isolated in white space giving room for some of the initial details of the incentive to be perfectly legible. After clicking/tapping, the user is shown the full details of the incentive along with a button to send them to a pre-populated search containing only vehicles matching that criteria.
