Work&Well Logo Redesign Process

My girlfriend showed me her company's website and I was underwhelmed by the branding and web design to say the least. I told her I could completely revamp the company's brand for practice. This is was the logic path to creating the new brand mark as well as some color lockups. I'm using the google material design color palette to minimize efforts since it is only practice.
