Wanderlust Letters

I had the honor of creating a hero image for Fonts.com using the font Wanderlust Letters, a beautiful hand-painted typeface with a fun flair.

I was inspired to do something different than what I typically had seen the font used for (mostly Pinterest-ready girly quotes and whimsical wedding designs). To me, the letters evoked feelings of summer, so I wanted to illustrate a cocktail recipe for sipping on the porch in the heat of June.

I loved how nicely the font worked for pairing all caps and all lowercase styles. The family also comes with a set of extras – like the banner, heart, and flourish ‐ which I had fun incorporating into the design.
