Background

Today's UI challenge reminded me of a project I worked on at Color and I wanted to share it here!

Color's current account settings is functional, but it ultimately lacks important features that would make it a really delightful and empowering experience. You can see the current settings page below.

I focused on creating an account settings that serves the growing needs of our users.

Solution

• Reorganize the information architecture

• Create more intuitive interactions

• Update UI using new design system elements

• Reduce friction for important actions by adding them directly on the settings page (currently actions such as logging out are hard to find)

• Create easier navigation between different categories

• There’s content discontinuity throughout settings flow that need to be edited
