Plant Shop Mobile App

Day 25 | BuiLD 1.0 challenge: Today for the prompt of creating a screen of a plant shop, I found myself scrolling through a swarm of nature themed apps which looked all the more similar in terms of their monochromatic green palettes. I wanted to break that monotony for today's challenge but as someone who has always struggled with colour theory and choosing colour palettes for my designs, I was at a loss on how to experiment with that.

That's when I remembered how much I've always loved how Spotify Design cleverly plays around with colours in their creative ads and designs and they always seem to get the trickiest of colour combinations right. So I took the task of choosing one of their creatives and extracted its colour palette for today's challenge.

The result isn't too far away from the theme of the prompt, and the pink in contrast to green adds a bit of variety to the overall look of the UI.
