Hero page for a gossip site

High life, celebrity gossips and trending topics. The easy quick fix to boredom. Ironically, I was bored when I started work on this hero section. I decided to go with the black and white newspaper ui style so that the site's background would not drag attention from the picture/topic of focus. I wanted something simple that would allow the trending gossip stand out (more than it already is).

Why did I add the gold 'read cosmopolitant tape' ? Because it adds character and represents the flashy lives of celebs. It visually balances the whole black and white vibe going on.
