Stockridge UI Concept

Happened to stumble upon this REALLY neat minimalistic UI for Death To The Stock Photo and was immediately compelled to try and solve some of the issues raised by @Vincent. In doing so, I tried to create a UI for a web app which designers could use to search, collect and organize stock photos for later use.

The Stockridge UI adopts the best features of Pinterest's card layout to solve issues such as readability and hover interactions. By using cards, we can also show previews of different aspect ratios AND make the entire app completely responsive. In this design, I've used a standard 12 column grid. Functionally, Stockridge crawls popular stock photo websites to provide a collection of images which can be searched and sorted easily using a tag system.
