Design Challenge Experience
This challenge is as overwhelming as when I plan my schedule in my scheduling system. I feel like there are a lot of things that I gotta add and tweak, but this is the best I can do in order to proceed. 70% is better than nothing.
This challenge sparked a lot of ideas in my head, and I think that this will be helpful for students or people who want to keep things organized.
I want to polish this in the near future, but I hope that it won't be just another idea.
I have a lot of hope for this app, and I think that it has great potential.
The Design
Sked is a scheduling application that is inspired by its own scheduling system in Google Sheets.
Sked, from the word "schedule", is made to be simple and relatable. It's customizable and should help you organize your schedule, and tasks, and plan out your month or your whole year.
There are things that I missed when designing this, which I will add sooner or later.
You can sort out your tasks and schedules daily, weekly, or monthly. Would I consider yearly? I might. On the left side of the app, you can add your tasks/schedule by category. You can assign its color by your own choice, or you can choose a theme that is preset for you.
In the monthly view, you can see the tasks and schedules you added, and sort them out by checking what you want to see on the left panel. When you click or hover on a date, there you can add or see the list of the schedule or tasks that you have added.
