8PAY allows you to make single, recurring and on-demand payments with a wide range of tokens.

The 8PAY team, based in the United Arab Emirates, engaged us to improve the user experience of their cryptocurrency payment app. Through the app, the users can make different types of payment with the main cryptocurrencies and use the platform token to pay the transaction costs.

Purpose of our collaboration was to redesign the desktop interface of the app and design the mobile version of the product from scratch.

We went through a two-step process:

• Stakeholder Interview with the 8PAY team to understand the industry, the product and their expectations on our collaboration.

• UX & UI Design of the new app, with a particular focus onexperience from mobile devices.

Stakeholder Interview

We interviewed the founders of 8PAY to be introduced to the company’s business and gain an in-depth understanding of their product’s positioning within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Next, we asked them to play for our designers a full demo of the app and an introduction to the different types of user and use cases to be satisfied.

Designing mobile-first

After identifying the most impactful elements on the UX of the product and redefining its general architecture, we dedicated ourselves to the design of its new mobile interface.

Finally, we designed the User Interface for the 8PAY desktop web application.
