Logo for local bar: Mezquite Bar

A group of people were planning on opening a bar in Coahuila, Mexico, so I was asked to create a logo for it.

Given the name “Mezquite” (or “Mesquite”), the main idea was to have a mesquite in the design plus I was asked to include a bear in some way.

The font I used is named “Bowlby One SC Regular” and I wrote the name of the bar in the form of arcs in both sides of the logo, which ended up being a bear eating from a mesquite.

All of it was made black to make it simplistic but attractive at the same time.
