2023 NCAA Women's Final Four in Dallas, TX.
in collaboration with Section 127 and the NCAA.
Star Container - One of the most recognized nicknames of any state, “The Lone Star State”. Texas as a state is synonymous with the star. A single, or "lone" star is featured on the state flag as well.
Four Stars, Four Teams (top) - Four stars are featured in the top half of the logo representing the four teams and the four regional brackets the teams come from.
Neon Lights - The downtown Dallas skyline can be an ever-changing spectrum of color lights. Many buildings downtown change their lights to almost any color in the spectrum. Often for big events or tributes, the city coordinates with building managers to synchronize the colors of the Dallas downtown skyline. The blue star tips and the orange brackets are meant to mimic this idea and incorporate elements from the skyline at night against the dark Texas sky.
Reunion Tower (bottom) - A 561 ft observation tower downtown, one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, and a standout in the Dallas skyline. This illustration also is meant to mimic a basketball and rim that is typically featured in NCAA Men's & Women's Final Four marks.
