About: Charoen Pokphand Group Co., Ltd, is a conglomerate and leading company based in Bangkok, Thailand, and serves as a parent company of C.P. Group. It’s beginnings traces back to 1921, when immigrant brothers Chia Ek Chor and Chia Jin Hyang, from China, started a seed store named Chia Tai Chung on Songsawat Road in Bangkok’s Chinatown during the reign of King Rama VI. They imported seeds and vegetables from China and exported pigs and eggs to Hong Kong, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
