Rebrand Strategy & Design for Social Media

Nadine no longer felt joy or satisfaction with her well established Nail & Beauty Business. She now found it to be unfulfilling, and not reflective of who she was, or how she wanted to help people.

Over the past few years Nadine had evolved spiritually and emotionally, but her business had not followed suit. She had been offering her new Massage and Holistic Wellness services for the past few years to her current clients, but they only wanted one thing from Nadine - Beautiful Nails!

While she occasionally got the odd customer for these newer services, it was not enough to make a sustainable business out of.

It was important to her to change her services, so she could help her customers on a deeper, more spiritual and emotional level. It was time for Nadine to make a pivot and start attracting customers that desired her services.

After reaching out to me - Jacqueline, a brand designer at ebble valley -, Nadine questioned whether a new website would help her market her new services better. Whilst this was true, it was obvious to me that it was far more pertinent for Nadine to have a Brand Redesign.

Nadine's current customers were never going to give her the time of day for her new services. Therefore, through strategy, I helped Nadine discover who would benefit the most from her Massage & Holistic services, and built a strategy towards helping them.

The Brand Strategy process revealed a lot about these new customers, and I designed a Brand Identity based on those findings. Once the visual and verbal identities were clearly established, I was then able to move on to creating Nadine's new Website Design.

But I didn't stop there. Social media is one of the best ways to aid a business in its branding and marketing efforts, but Content Creation is taxing and each platform is used for an entirely different purpose. On Facebook, Nadine was building an engaged audience, however on other platforms like Instagram, the same content wasn't connecting.

This post is part of my process to help Nadine strategically adjust her content in a way that establishes a consistent aesthetic, that will enable her to build trust and brand loyalty

Rebranding takes a lot of time, energy and focus. It's difficult when you're the business owner, and wearing 1001 hats to make things work. It's very easy to get off track and lose focus, and fall back into old habits.

With continuous help and support over the past year Nadine and I have worked together to transition her from Nail Artist - to Holistic Wellness Therapist. It has taken so long because of various restrictions, Nadine's budget for instance.

As a small business owner myself, I completely understand how important it is to manage your budget and expectations. With this in mind Nadine and I were able to work out a mutually beneficial retainer to keep Nadine's brand transition on track and flourish into the business of her dreams.

A strategist will help you focus on achieving your goals, not vanity metrics, to ensure your business is on the right path to success.

I hope you found some of the ideas in this post useful for your own strategies.
