New Chapter
Warning: Many feels below
I am stoked to announce I have accepted an Art Director position at Luxe working next to the awesome @Dann Petty. The past few weeks have been pretty hectic working out the details but I am beyond excited for what the future holds.
This announcement is bittersweet however. It means my necessary departure from @Elegant Seagulls. Seeing the company grow over the past 8 years has been an experience I will never forget. Countless memories were made working alongside people whom I can call nothing less than family. I'm sad to go but something tells me I'll never stop being an ugly bird at heart.

It only seems right to give some shout outs to the people I've surrounded myself with over the past few years:
@Tom OConnell - you'll always be an old man to me. Our ridiculous banter back and forth never got old. Thanks for sharing your time and your old man wisdom with me.
@Bugsy - though we haven't worked with each other super long (especially with your usual schedule ;)) you have been a great friend and amazing teammate. Excited you're on full time now (finally)!
@Liz Klarecki - Butterfly. Keep killing it - you are an incredibly talented individual. I expect only the greatest of things for your future! Thanks for putting up with me and @Tom OConnell for the past 2 years!
@Christopher LaRose - Mr Chris.. Where do I even start? It's been a pleasure seeing you grow into such an insane designer/developer. @Elegant Seagulls is lucky to have you! I expect you to shut down the internet at least a few times in the near future!
@Joseph Cornelia - not much needs to be said here. I'll prolly just tell you over a beer tonight while we pet our adopted cat on the couch. Keep killing it as always!
@Myles kedrowski - quit being such a good designer dude. Everytime you show me what you're working on I think "dam, I need to step up my game". We've only worked with each other for a short time but it's been long enough to know you're a great guy and talented designer!
@John Spigarelli - I've never heard someone use the word "crush" to describe what they're going to do to a chocolate chip muffin more times than you - and I love you for that. You've helped bring @Elegant Seagulls to the next level and always bring positive energy to the office!
And last but not least
@Ben Johnson - where do I even start? It's been a wild ride that's for sure. From working out of our apartments to having a killer office it's been crazy to see how far @Elegant Seagulls has come. Not only have you been my mentor since day one - but you've been like a brother to me. I wouldn't be where I am today without your guiding hand! I can't thank you enough for allowing me this experience over the past 8 years. Keeping killing it.

I will be leaving the beautiful city of Marquette, Michigan on July 5th and relocating to San Francisco. If anyone ever wants to grab lunch or get a drink feel free to hit me up!
