Grinding Gears

Working on this little loading animation for a site. I drew the gears with pencil, brought them in to Illustrator for vectorizing, cleanup, and coloring. I then save each gear as a separate svg and set them as background images for three different html elements. I'm using CSS animations with transforms to animate them.

I made the gif with screen recorder and because it saves animated gifs at a lower quality if gave that cool squigglevision style.

Now I can't decide if I like the original smooth animation or this chunkier version.
