In 2022 I served as the Social Media Manager for Mihaela Plesa for Texas House District 70. I worked with Mihaela in both the primary and general elections, creating a library of graphics that we utilized to spread the word about her campaign, where she stood on the issues important to District 70 voters, and to recruit a network of volunteers to help the campaign reach voters. Mihaela narrowly won both the primary and general elections to become the first woman elected as a Democrat in Collin County, Texas. Our presence on social media and the eye catching graphics we created were and essential part of this campaign. She now serves as the State Representative for District 70 in the Texas House.
