Harry Fane

Since 1978, Harry Fane has bought and sold some of the greatest creations from Cartier’s golden years of the 1920’s and 1930’s. He is recognised as the world authority in Cartier, with a special emphasis on the objets d’art.

The previous Harry Fane website wasn’t representative of the majesty of the brand. It wasn’t responsive, didn’t work on mobile or tablet, and needed to be brought into line with modern practices.

The called us in to redesign the entire site from scratch, focusing on a luxury website design and designing for mobile first to ensure that all visitors to the site have the same great user experience.

The site went through many clean and modern designs before focusing on a traditional gold cream that matched the brand colours and luxury feel.

The site now has a modern and simplified, luxury website design look, complete with enhanced content fully optimised for every media device, desktop through mobile. This allows customers to view the jewellery gallery, keep up to date with press and events, and access services on any device.

The CMS allows the client to observe visitor and customer analytics, so they can feed this information back into offering the service that their customers are looking for. We fully designed and developed the site using WordPress, concentrating on accessibility and responsive design to give an inclusive and interactive user experience.

The SEO results from our new design, development and structure have been very successful. We integrated the client’s preferred mailing list service to increase sign ups and data capture, as well as improving on page measures in order to focus on SERPs.
