Design of the "Mediator's Codex" booklet

For this project I designed illustrations and layout for the "Mediator's codex" - a booklet for children of secondary school age who took part in the training of the "Dom pokoju" Foundation and became mediators. The booklet contains 6 main principles of mediation, a mediator monologue, and a table that is meant to help the mediator ask questions during conflict resolution.

Zaprojektowałam ilustracje oraz layout do “Kodeksu Mediatora” - książeczki dla dzieci w wieku gimnazjalnym, które brały udział w szkoleniach fundacji “Dom pokoju” i zostały mediatorami. Książeczka zawiera 6 głównych zasad mediacji, monolog Mediatora i Mediatorki oraz tabelkę, która ma na celu pomagać mediatorowi zadawać pytania podczas rozwiązania konfliktu. 

I designed a set of illustrations for the booklet. The illustrations are mainly in shades of grey. I also used several different shades of blue for the illustrations. I chose this color palette because one of the shades of blue (#B8E1F6) is an element of the visual identification of the “Dom pokoju” Foundation. Leto typeface is also a part of the visual identification of the Foundation. That’s why I also used it in the project.

Do książeczki zaprojektowałam zestaw ilustracji. Ilustracje są głównie w odcieniach szarości. Użyłam również kilku różnych odcieni niebieskiego. Zdecydowałam się na taką kolorystykę, ponieważ jeden z odcieni niebieskiego (#B8E1F6) jest elementem identyfikacji wizualnej Fundacji Dom pokoju. Elementem identyfikacji wizualnej Fundacji jest również krój pisma Lato, który wykorzystałam w tym projekcie.
