Pinterest Redesign

As a frequent Pinterest user, I aimed to enhance the app's user experience by redesigning the navigation bar and improving the saved pins' editing feature.

Before

In the original design, the navigation bar consisted of five icons, including messaging and user profile icons. However, I found the navigation bar to be too crowded, and I determined that the message icon was unnecessary.

After

In my redesign, I removed the message icon and added notifications to the profile icon. I relocated the profile icon to the top right corner and included a notification dot to indicate unread notifications.

Before

In the original design, the profile page appeared unbalanced, and the follower and following counts dominated the page, leaving little space for other information.

After

To address these issues, I removed the bottom navigation bar since the profile icon was no longer located there, allowing for more viewing space. Additionally, I replaced the 'add' button with an 'edit' button, enabling users to delete and share multiple pins at once.
