The Challenge

The challenge is to design a NFT marketplace app using Figma. With a design brief and wireframes provided, I started brainstorming, creating UI screens, and designing a functional prototype . Let’s start to climb the Summit :)

The Brief + Target Audience

Summit, a new startup, took on a mission to revolutionize the NFT marketplace with a design-first and user-focused approach. Thus, the goal is to design the visual aesthetics for a digital NFT marketplace app.

The app is designed for tech-savvy people, who embrace or are interested in the world of NFT and digital art. With full curiosity and a strong sense of aesthetics, they value their experiences to be user-friendly and beautifully-curated.

Moodboard + Wireframes

I started by collecting visual references of various NFT marketplaces app designs. Here are the 2 different moodboard directions: Dark and Light.

Visual Explorations

With provided wireframes, I designed home screens for both directions and chose the dark & slick direction. With playful graphics and colors, I hope to provide users a more friendly experience.

Final Screens

Once locking down the visual aesthetics, it’s time to design for all screens! The scope include splash, home, search, profile and NFT screens.
