Isometric Room

Canvas Size: 256*256px

Color Palette: Vinik24 (heavily modified)

I have seen a lot of cool isometric art on Instagram lately. From this perspective, you can create anything from house exteriors to interiors, to cityscapes to wilderness. The possibilities are endless. I have worked on isometric art before in Illustrator, but in pixel art, it has a bit of a learning curve. So, I spent this week learning about different kinds of isometric grids and animation.

For this project, I decided to draw a cozy interior, unlike my other projects. I used a 2:1 isometric grid to lay down the basic structure of a drawing room, and then added the other elements one by one like sofas, painting on the wall, and a plant etc. The cat in the painting is a tribute to one of my Instagram followers who's always been supportive. A big shoutout to @erema.pixel on Instagram. The illustration only depicts one corner of the room, not the whole space. I could've drawn the whole room, but as I said I was learning, so you can consider this an experiment project.

Overall, this project was a valuable learning experience for me and an excellent addition to my portfolio.
