Welina logo process

I have been working on something different from my usual and experimented with my procreate to design this Café logo. Here are the main steps of the process. I was not initially planning on sketching thing "manually" but I ended up appreciating the freedom offered but the pencil.

The concept was to marry the motif of the Lehua flower with the name in an oval frame with some of topical/tribal details. I tried to emulate an "island heritage" look and feel.

Had fun with this one but I'm certainly starting a logo design business tomorrow.
