Victory/Defeat

A printed study of the connection between victory and defeat

Victory/Defeat is a zine developed from a google search of images with the tag, victory and defeat. The images were paired with an original poem about my struggle in understanding victory and defeat. Being an athlete and competitive spirit since the age of eight has brought me through many of the moments highlighted in the piece. My entire life has been a struggle in competition, and in this project, I wanted to define for myself, the fine line that separates victory and defeat.
