Victory on Ice

I was commissioned to design and illustrate a book cover on the first Stanley Cup wins of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1930s. My objective was to evoke a 1930s WPA/World’s Fair poster style - which often conveyed simplified, yet dramatic imagery with bold colors and stylized figures.
