Animal Shelter Mural

This is a mural I did for the Agoura Animal Shelter in California, its staff, and Fish and Wildlife. It's titled Rainbow Bridge, and meant to raise morales of the staff that works there. I truly enjoyed this project because often a staff member would wander in and recount the story of an animal they tried desperately to save or lost due to old age/illness... by the time they came back to visit... I had included said animal into my work. Animals touch our lives, they leave permanent prints on our hearts that remain with us forevermore...

Initial concept sketch of finished work seen above. Note that nearly all animals not seen in this sketch were added during the proccess, many requested by staff members.
