Sakala, 2023

Sakala is a piece that started out as being just a simple appreciation for morels (my favorite mushroom!) but it grew into a small depiction of the universe. Sakala is a word derived from Sanskrit meaning whole, perfect, universe. Everything is connected in our universe - not just physically - spiritually, and on a much deeper level than humans can even comprehend.

Sakala is a repretentation of unity - of wholeness - of connectiveness.
