Checkout Orders and Track my Order Features for beU Delivery

Proud to share my latest exploration of Checkout Orders and Track my Order Features for beU Delivery.
As the UI/UX designer for beU Delivery in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, I was tasked with designing the Checkout Orders and Track my Order feature for the beU Delivery app. My main goal was to make the process of ordering and tracking deliveries as easy and intuitive as possible.
To start, I conducted extensive research on user behavior and preferences in the Ethiopian market. Through user surveys and interviews, I gathered valuable insights into how users navigate delivery apps and what features they find most helpful. I also looked at competitor apps and analyzed their strengths and weaknesses.
Based on this research, I developed wireframes and user flows for the Checkout Orders and Track my Order features. I worked closely with the development team to ensure that the designs were feasible and met the technical requirements of the app.
For the Checkout Orders feature, I focused on creating a streamlined process that would guide users through the ordering process step-by-step. The interface was designed to be simple and easy to understand, with clear instructions and feedback for each action.
For the Track my Order feature, I wanted to create a visual representation of the delivery process that would help users stay informed and reassured. I designed a map-based interface that displayed the user's location as well as the location of the delivery driver in real time. This feature also allowed users to track the delivery driver's progress and receive notifications when the driver was approaching their location.
After several rounds of user testing and feedback, the final designs were implemented in the beU Delivery app. The Checkout Orders and Track my Order features were well-received by users, and the app saw an increase in usage and positive reviews.
Overall, this project was a great opportunity to work on a product that had a real impact on people's daily lives. By putting the user at the center of the design process and creating intuitive interfaces, we were able to improve the overall user experience and make ordering and tracking deliveries as easy as possible for beU Delivery's customers.
